It could be recalled that two days ago, Gen.
Buhari had issued a statement warning President Goodluck Jonathan and
his government on their attempt to muscle the opposition and endanger
Nigeria.
The Presidency raised an eyebrow to the statement.
Another reliable source confirmed that an
earlier bomb blast that allegedly killed scores of people today was
targeted at an a popular Islamic Cleric Dahiru Bauchi who was delivering
Ramadan lecture at Murtala Square in Kaduna.
As at the time of filing this report, no
group has claimed responsibility for the two high-profile attacks, but a
security operative in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, said the explosions
were likely the handiwork of the extremist Islamists group, Boko Haram.
The Boko Haram insurgents had claimed
responsibility for terror attacks that had occurred in norther Nigeria
and other part of the country.
